1        5

Students will learn how to use precise language in both informative and narrative writing. For informative writing, students will learn how to use domain-specific vocabulary to explain the topic. For narrative texts, students will use concrete words to convey sensory details and precisely describe events. In both cases, redundancies should be avoided.
